One of the upcoming dramas most of you got intrigued by when I mentioned it before is WARM BODIES in which the story follows an existentially tormented zombie who falls for the girlfriend of one of his victims and decides to protect her from his brain-eating brethren as he begins to reconnect with his dormant humanity.

According to "MovieWeb" David Twohy (from RIDDICK sf saga) will helm THE LEONARDO JOB, an action thriller about two rival master thieves who are hired to go to Florence to steal the "lost" Leonardo da Vinci painting "The Battle of Anghiari".
These experts use high tech and old tricks to prove the painting exists and pinpoint its location - hidden behind another masterpiece. They are forced to combine skills when their schemes to steal the painting get more complicated and dangerous after they discover they are not the only ones pursuing the hidden treasure.

stars :) Over at "Beyond Hollywood" I came upon a charming little film with an even more charming title - TWO HEADED SHARK ATTACK. The latest rumors say that two vixens, Brooke Hogan and Carmen Electra will appear in this rather crazy film about a "Semester at Sea" ship which is attacked and sunk by a mutated two-headed shark, and the survivors seek refuge on a deserted atoll. The coeds, however, are no longer safe when the atoll starts flooding. The film should hit DVD market next year in case you're interested.
The only trailer I have to offer you today, in this rather slow week when it comes to movie news, is the one for A BIRD OF THE AIR,
a charming film which hits cinemas this month and stars two gorgeous people Rachel Nichols (from CONAN and GI JOE, but they did some criminal things to her hair in this one) and Jackson Hurst. The story follows a solitary man who becomes obsessed with finding the owner of a green parrot who one day flew into his trailer. He is then joined by a girl who decides to help with his parrot search, whether he wants her to or not. The two of them set out on a quest to find the bird's previous owners and she begins to unravel the mysteries of his past and his present which is more intense than the romantic version she had envisioned.

on to star in SOLACE, a crime thriller which will revolve around a former doctor who possesses psychic abilities, which he uses to help the FBI track down a serial killer. As "Deadline" reports, Fox, Dreamworks and Disney will all work together in financing Steven Spielberg's next huge, and extremely expensive, project, the movie adaptation of sf novel ROBOPOCALYPSE. As I reported before, the freshly released novel by Daniel H. Wilson is a sf epic which explores the fate of the human race after the world was hit by a robot uprising.

whom the producers gave the offer for the job after she left them breathless during her performance at Cannes Film Festival, and now, according to the latest news the song which will promote the movie could be sang by British sensation Adele. Appearing in one of the British chat shows, Adele has revealed that she is working on a movie song and that it could be the one for JAMES BOND 23 although she didn't want to reveal any details. If you ask me that sounds like a brilliant idea, since Adele truly is a breath of fresh air and a storm of natural talent in the current world of superficial and talentless pop tarts.
Now, here's something fresh and unusual: charming and delightful trailer for Luc Besson produced animated movie A MONSTER IN PARIS. Set in Paris,1910 it follows Emile, a shy movie
projectionist, and Raoul, a colorful inventor, who find themselves embarked on the hunt for a monster terrorizing citizens. They join forces with Lucille, the big-hearted star of the Bird of Paradise cabaret, an eccentric scientist and his irascible monkey, to save the monster, who turns out to be an oversized but harmless flea, from the city's ruthlessly ambitious police chief. Brilliantly crafted animation, action, comedy, romance and catchy musical numbers are just some of the things you will see in the film which premieres this October in France. The voice cast includes Vanessa Paradis, the mother of Johnny Depp's kids.

I know that all of you JAMES BOND fans are waiting for the new 007 film, and the good news is that it should start shooting soon
over in India with a stunning budget of almost $200 million. I'm not sure why they are shooting in India since the story is supposed to be set in HOLLYWOOD SPY's homecountry of Vojvodina. Believe it or not, in JAMES BOND 23 secret agent oo7 will be on a mission on the outskirts of Novi Sad the capital city of Vojvodina, monitoring an Irishman called Niall Dunne, who plans to derail a train carrying three hundred kilograms of methyl isocyanate. The possible title of the film could be CARTE BLANCHE and the producers have offered Serbian cellist Jelena Mihailovic to compose the opening music sequence for the film. As you know, directed by Sam Mendes, the film will have Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes in the cast.

Having spent his career chasing Cassius, Shepherdson is convinced his nemesis is long dead, but is pushed to take on the case by his former supervisor(Martin Sheen). Meanwhile, Agent Geary, who wrote his Master’s thesis on Shepherdson’s pursuit of the Soviet killer, is certain that Cassius has resurfaced. As Shepherdson and Geary work their way through crimes both past and present, they discover that Cassius may not be the person they always thought him to be, forcing both to re-examine everything and everyone around them. The film also stars Stephen Moyer.

Speaking of Crystal, I haven't seen him and Bette Midler for quite some time, but I didn't expect to see them playing grandparents: as "Variety" reports this weekend, they will take lead roles in US & THEM playing a divorced couple who must live under the same roof again with their three grandchildren.
